Crest of the Wave
Crest of the Wave is a podcast for the Daytona Beach region's business community. A production of the Daytona Regional Chamber of Commerce, the podcast will keep the regional business community connected to a strong economic and business environment in the greater Daytona Beach area. The Crest of the Wave will be filled with great conversation in support of a thriving community featuring the business leaders, community leaders, and elected officials who are making things happen across the region.

Downtown Daytona Beach is home to Jackie Robinson Memorial Ballpark. A setting rich in baseball and civil rights history as the exact location at which Jackie Robinson broke professional baseball’s color barrier in March of 1946. Home to the Daytona Tortugas for the last decade, baseball has been played on City Island for more than a century.
On this episode of Crest of the Wave, we sit down with Tortugas Team President and General Manager Jim Jaworski. The conversation ranges from the game of baseball to the business of baseball, as well as the exciting renovations happening at the ballpark…ushering in a new era with modern amenities…all while preserving its rich history.
